"This 3 track cassette is everything you need on any occasion requiring a little bit of that garage band angst and attitude. I’m almost inclined to say this is what Trent Lane wanted “Mystik Spiral” to grow into. Dripping with distorted guitair riffs, the kind that keep you quietly nodding at the back of the house party in appreciation – These guys didn’t come to fuck spiders, they came to express every hormonally charged and alcohol driven feeling you’ve ever had. I might sound like I’m taking the piss here – But I cannot stress enough how worth your time this perfectly garage-punk-trio are. If you long for the sweet atonal juxtaposition of “Ow! my face” or you just miss the days you spent hanging out on couches you could put your cigarette out on, you’re in for a ride. Lets hope these guys drop the “off” from “Off again, on again” and bring us more of their unique and compelling stuff – 3 tracks just isn’t enough for this little West-sider.
